Yoga & Sound Therapy
Bring a blanket and yoga mat to the Bloedel Donovan Community Building and enjoy 15 minutes of gentle yoga before the soothing sound vibrations of Himalayan singing bowls, gongs, and bells for deep relaxation. Today’s session is hosted by Everitt Allen of Sound Therapy of the Pacific Northwest.

Introduction to Sound Therapy and the Singing Bowls
In this 2 hour session you will be introduced to Sound Therapy and using the Metal and Crystal singing bowls. This short session is great if you have a bowl and really don’t know how to use it, or you have been interested and would like to experience the sound of the bowls. If so, dust it off and I will fill you in with what you have been missing out on. The introduction to the background knowledge about the use of the bowls, provide the history of sound therapy and the use of singing bowls is discussed and includes instruction on how and where they are made.

Sound Therapy Training
This 2 day series will offer you hands-on training on how to play the Singing Bowls, you will dive deeply in the healing vibration of Singing bowls, plus protocols on how to incorporate them into your healing modalities. Over the course of the two day sessions, you will learning in an interactive learning environment, with talks and demonstrations, combined with hands on practice sessions with the bowls. You will learn how to effectively offer vibrational healing sessions for the benefits of stress reduction, deep relaxation, facilitating release of blocked energy from stress, physical or emotional trauma.

Basic Gong Training
This one day Gong Intensive is an immersion in Basic Gong playing. The Intensive is open to both beginners and those who already play a little, and work rove the day will be structured according to the needs of the participants. A variety of gong-related subjects will be covered including learning and practicing various techniques. This is an ideal workshop for those who want to kick-start their gong experience and begin their gong journey with expert tuition in the powerful gong space.

Yoga and Sound in the Park
Please bring a blanket and a yoga mat to Bloedel Recreation Center and enjoy 15 min of Gentle Yoga before the soothing sounds of Himalayan Singing bowls, gongs, and bells for a deep relaxation. Space is caped to 20 spaces with a minimum of 5. Please be sure that you have confirm the location with Rosa, as space may be changed.
