What is Sound Therapy?

Singing bowls can be used for meditation, healing, clearing spaces, and to open chakras. When these centerers are balanced, one’s life becomes more balanced both physically, emotionally and spiritually.

You can be restored to balance by a sound massage with a gong bath and old patterns are broken up. The true Self can emerge in form of a well-disciplined intelligence so that old wounds have a chance to heal.

Sound therapy has also been reported to remove stress, giving peace, and relieving depression.

About Everitt

It was a chiropractor that first referred me to yoga for problem with my shoulder. I was surprised at how the small efforts had such a profound healing effect. I felt great relief from the stretching, and calm from matching movement to breath. These are elements that I bring into my classes still. I continue to take trainings with master teachers, refining my teaching and personal yoga practice.

I have completed Hatha Teacher Training with Yoga Yoga in 2006, then graduated from Kundalini Level One in 2007. I have studied Hatha techniques with Donna Farhi, Vinyaskrama with Srivatsa Ramaswami and completed Restorative, Relax and Renew Training, Advanced Relax and Renew Training and The Spine:: Anatomy, Asana and Therapeutics with Judith Lasater, assisting in several of her workshops. Completed certification in Yoga in Chairs by Liz Franklin and Silver Age Yoga Certification by Frank Iszak. I completed Kundalini Teacher Training Level 2 with Yoga Yoga. And completed a 42 hr. intensive training with Richard Miller for i-Rest training. I teach Restorative, Yin, iRest/Yoga Nidra and Kundalini Yoga at Yoga Yoga studios for over 15 years. I have taught a Senior Chair class for over 10 years. I also provide Sound Healing sessions with Tibetan Singing Bowls.
